In pictures: Witton Barracks Open Day

What a day that was! Nearly 1,000 people turned out on Saturday – in 36 degree heat – to join us for the Witton Barracks Open Day. It was a true celebration of community and social enterprise.

We’re particularly grateful to Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner and Councillor Penny Wolff who came along to commemorate the opening; and to Aunty Kathryn Fisher for a beautiful Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony.

The event was proudly sponsored by Brisbane City Council, Westpac Foundation, GoodPeople and White Box Enterprises.

It featured lots of fun activities for the kids as well as a vibrant social enterprise market.

Check out some photos from the day below.
