Big news brewing in Indooroopilly! We’re on the lookout for a brilliant someone (maybe you?) to bring delicious coffee and good vibes to Witton Barracks, one of the west side’s hidden gems.
We’re throwing open the gates (literally) to expressions of interest from local coffee vans, mobile cafés, or anyone with a creative café concept to set up at our beautiful heritage site on Lambert Road.
Witton Barracks is right near the RiverWalk, a popular kids’ playground, and a hop, skip and jump from Indooroopilly train station—so there’s already a steady stream of locals, families, walkers, cyclists, and commuters ready for their daily caffeine fix.
We’re dreaming of a setup that’s:
- Warm and welcoming
- Community-minded
- Serves really good coffee and light bites
- And fits in with our relaxed, heritage-rich setting
Whether you’re serving from a cute little van, a converted trailer, a funky shipping container—or you’ve got a pop-up idea with flair—we’re keen to hear from you. You don’t need a 50-page proposal, just a clear, creative vision and a solid coffee game.
A few practical things:
- Mornings preferred (6:30–10:30am), but we’re flexible
- Power & water are sorted
- A 3-month trial to start, with room to grow
- Site fees? Negotiable—we’re open to flat rates or a % of sales
